Brief Bio:
Ying Wang is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Survey Research and Methodology Program at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She completed her BA in Russian at Nanjing University in China in 2004. From 2004 to 2006 she was Personal Assistant to the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Shanghai. In AY 2007/2008 she began her studies at UNL in the Department of Educational Psychology, before joining the SRAM program. She is currently working with Janet Harkness on a project using ESS and WMHI questions to investigate interpreting in telephone interviews. Ying has also been working with Dr. Kristen Olson on item nonresponse using NAAL data.
